"This might look a little dramatic, but I'm keen to capture the art competition theme, Life on the River," said Ron, standing at his easel in Marshalls Creek.

Ron reminded all painters and amateur film-makers that entries didn't just happen overnight.

Entries for the expo competitions (both film and painting) close on Friday, October 20.

More than $3000 in prizemoney is on offer and all details are available at www.brunswickvalley.com.au/art-expoor by contacting the registrar at 66802085.

The expo will be held on November 11, 12 and 13 at the Community Centre in Mullumbimby.
