It's all down in the history books now, as Judy Keaney, Don Stafford and Grahame Hall know.
The official history of the first 10 years of the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust was launched last night at the Rotorua Museum of Art and History.
Written by Rotorua historian Don Stafford, Legacy of Power records the history of electricity in the district, how the trust came to be and what it has achieved over the past 10 years.
As well as informing residents about the history of the trust, the book will also help raise funds for a dialysis machine at Rotorua Hospital - with a portion of the book price going towards the machine.
Earlier yesterday the new trustees elected Mr Hall as the chairman of the trust and Jo-Anne La Grouw as the deputy chairwoman.
Former chairwoman Mrs Keaney and deputy chairwoman Roma Cook both chose to stand down from their roles.
