Brave shave for cancer beckons
The Child Cancer Foundation is seeking supporters brave enough to shave their head to help raise money for 11 Tauranga children undergoing cancer treatment.
Money raised will also go toward support for more than 50 other children and their families locally, including bereaved families.
Those people willing to lose their locks can take part in the Shave Your Lid for a Brave Kid campaign by registering at www.funrazor.org.nz/joinevent and will receive a free professional clipper cut, a special certificate, and the first 50 who register will also receive a free goody bag.
The event will take place at Mount Main Beach on March 2 at 2pm.
