Car flips on Windsor Rd, Bellevue

Emergency services responded to a crash on Windsor Rd in Bellevue just before 3.00pm this afternoon.

Steve Smith, shift manager at Northern Fire Communications, explained that a vehicle had flipped.

Police, the fire brigade as well as an ambulance were at the scene where the car had landed on its roof.

A Bay of Plenty Times reporter said that a female occupant had been cut from the car.

She has been taken to Tauranga Hospital by ambulance.

At around 3.15pm, a tow truck had arrived to take the vehicle off the road.
