Discoloured tap water after supply system tests
Some Tauranga properties may be affected by discoloured tap water today, a Tauranga City Council spokesperson said.
This is the result of a water supply systems test that was done at 8.00am this morning.
The discolouration is not harmful to drink.
The best way to get rid of the discoloured water is to flush it from the system by running an outside tap for 5 - 10 minutes.
