Earthquake in Taupo
GeoNet has reported a 2.1 magnitude earthquake 10km north of Taupo.
The earthquake hit at 4.28pm and the intensist was recorded as week.
It comes only an hour after a 2.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded near White island. GeoNet reported the quake was 5km east of White Island and was at a depth of 5km.
