Exciting times ahead for music lovers.IN THE next few months we seem to be pretty well catered for in the music and entertainment department.

Next week we'll see New Zealand's Got Talent act JGeeks performing for fans on Tuesday before a huge weekend in the city.

Not only will we have Ministry of Sound's General Lee in the city, we've also got two concerts on the Saturday featuring artists including Renee Geyer, Ardijah, 1814, Maisey Rika, Adeaze and more performing as well as the country's top kapa haka performers competing in Te Matatini.

A couple of weeks later we'll have the annual Lakeside concert with performers such as Ria Hall, Seth Haapu, Russell Harrison, Michael Murphy, Tina Cross, Jennifer Ward-Lealand, Eve Gordon, Mike Edwards and more in the city.

International reggae artist Spawnbreezie will also be in Rotorua in March, Australian-based hip hop artist Fortafy will be in Rotorua in April and there are plans to bring even more international stars to the city for fans as well.

Some of New Zealand's top DJs are also heading to the city for different gigs.

With Raggamuffin not long passed, these are some exciting times ahead for music lovers.

Whether you're a fan of classical, rock, pop, reggae, hip hop, R&B; or dub-step, it seems you've been catered for.

There's sure to be an event or gig for everyone in the next few months. Enjoy.
