A High Court murder trial involving two teenagers and a man over the killing of Roman Skorek in Kuirau Park has been put off until July.

William Karauna Edwards, 15, Leslie McKay Glen, 14, and Simon Meka Herewini, 20, were to stand trial in the High Court at Rotorua today.

All three have pleaded not guilty to a joint charge of murder.

A fourth man Rawiri James Samuel, 22, pleaded guilty to to murder last year and was sentenced in the High Court at Rotorua in December to life imprisonment, with a minimum non-parole period of 12 years.

Justice Lang remanded the trio to reappear on July 1. Edwards and Herewini have been remanded in custody and Glen is on bail.

The body of 64-year-old Mr Skorek was found in the geothermal park on January 23 last year.
