Man airlifted to hospital after trike crash

A 23-year-old man had to be airlifted to hospital after crashing into a light bollard while riding what was described as a drift trike.   The Taupo-based Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was called to the incident near Kinloch last night.   Pilot Nat Every said the man had crashed into the light bollard on the side of the road in a new sub-division.   The man was flown to Rotorua Hospital.
