Missing couple last seen in Whakatane

Police are seeking public help to find a couple, missing since they visited relatives in Bay of Plenty more than a week ago.

Te Arawa Karaitiana, 20, and his partner, Carli Pugh, 27, were last seen when they left the Whakatane home of Ms Pugh's grandfather on November 4.

The couple left in a mauve coloured Toyota RAV4 with the registration number ANG948 and are believed to have headed back to their New Windsor, Auckland home but never arrived. Family are concerned for their safety, said police.

Ms Pugh is described as Maori, about 162cm tall and of solid build. Mr Karaitiana is Maori, 182cm tall and of medium to thin build.
