New look Daily Post: 11 days to go

It's counting down like Christmas here at The Daily Post.

Eleven days to go before we convert from an afternoon broadsheet to a morning compact.

As part of the revamp, The Daily Post will start publishing an emergency services page each Wednesday.

This is just one of a number of big changes coming into affect from March 11.

The new page will include a weekly report from the Rotorua police and a review of rescue helicopter and fire service callouts.

The burglary map which currently features on a Tuesday will move to this page on a Wednesday and we will retain the weekly Crimewatch articles which ask for the public's help to find people wanted by police.

As your emergency services reporter, I'm looking forward to bringing you this new and informative page.
