Noise control: Nearly 100 callouts a week
Rotorua noise control officers responded to 1182 noise complaints in the first three months of this year.
Of those 1082 were for loud stereos or parties, six were for loud bands, 34 for machinery, 22 for security alarms and 12 for vehicle alarms.
On 24 occasions the police were called to help with the seizure of equipment causing the noise.
