The team relished the perfect conditions during the colourful annual two day Waka Ama Regionals - which this year attracted over 200 teams from Hamilton, Tauranga, Whakatane and Rotorua - to finish third overall in the W6 1000m and W6 500m events.

Their success contributed to a triumphant Te Au Rere regatta, which saw 12 junior and masters paddlers qualify for the National championships at Lake Karapiro next year.
