Nominations are being called for the annual Waiariki Institute of Technology Bay of Plenty Sports Awards. The annual awards recognise and celebrate excellence in sport across a number of categories. To nominate someone visit www.sportbop.co.nz and download a nomination form or visit a Sport Bay of Plenty office in Rotorua, Whakatane or Tauranga. The forms will also be available in schools, clubs and other sporting organisations throughout the Bay of Plenty. The closing date for nominations is October 5 and the awards will be at the Energy Events Centre on November 19.
