Two hurt in motorcycle crash
A man has been airlifted to Rotorua Hospital with leg and chest injuries after a motorcycle crash earlier today.
Another man was taken to Waikato Hospital with serious injuries.
The Rotorua-based BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the scene on State Highway 47 between Mt Tongariro and Lake Taupo about 11.30am.
The Rotorua helicopter airlifted a 52-year-old man to Rotorua for further treatment.
The Taupo-based Greenlea Rescue Helicopter transported the second man.
