Westend traffic lights out until Saturday
Traffic lights at the corner of Malfroy Rd and Old Taupo Rd are expected to be out for another 12 hours.
Rotorua District Council group manager infrastructure services Andrew Bell said it was caused by a control box fire on Thursday night.
He said contractors had placed cones and signs at the intersection and were waiting for a part to be delivered.
The lights were expected to be working by 5am Saturday morning.
