Eastern Pirates, Otumoetai Cadets, Te Puke and Tauranga Boys' College took maximum points from the second round of the BOPCA Cup.
A solid batting effort set Dawson Insurance Eastern Pirates up for a win over Eastern Bay United.
Jarrod Christoffersen, with fine innings of 60, along with James MacMillan, Douglas Fluker and Julian Danby, contributed 192 runs. MacMillan then took five wickets to give Pirates an emphatic 114 run win.
Meanwhile, Rotorua Boys' High School lost two wickets with only a run on the board against a depleted Otumoetai Cadets side before Kieran Carling and Shaquille Graham put on 84 for the third wicket. Cody Fell held the middle order together before the students were dismissed three balls short of batting out their fifty overs.
